Sunshine Balloon Rides is a family-created business that offers the experience of flying across Central Florida. The family has more than 15 years of ballooning ride experience around the world and participation in several events like the largest event in the world Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico - US and the largest South America - Torres International Festival, Brazil. The pilot Mr. Kerber is an FAA certified commercial pilot and member of the Balloon Federation of America. The company invests only at the best equipments available on the world market to ensure the safest flight and also keep the maintenance with the highest standards. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and we want to make sure your experience is the best one we can provide.

What you need to know
Some general information
The first step
The balloon flights happen at Sunrise only and depend absolutely on the weather conditions. We fly only by booking in advance. The duration of the flights can vary according to wind speed, direction, and terrain conditions. The average flight duration is around 60 min. However, it can be shorter or a little longer. The evening before your booking date, you will receive an email or text with the general conditions for the flight with instructions like meeting point and the exact time so prepare yourself to be available before sunrise and reserve most of your morning for this activity. If the weather does not help us we will move your booking to another day and you still keep the credit to fly at a different date with no charge. See below the conditions for changing or canceling your flight.
Ride to Launch Site
Once we are at the meeting point our team will measure the wind speed and proceed with the flight briefing. From there you will come with us and we will bring you back after the flight. Like any other interactive sport be prepared to help us a little bit to get the balloon ready to fly. You will get involved in small things like holding the mouth of the balloon at the time for inflation. We offer pick-up/drop-off service upon request at limited locations (extra charge will apply).
Conditions and payments
In order to book a flight, we require a deposit so we can hold your place and work on your booking. The remaining amount can be paid anytime or personally to our team when you fly except for gift vouchers. Cancellations or booking changes can be made with no charge more than 48 hours in advance before your flight. Less than 48 hours before your flight schedule, we will charge you the deposit. For gift vouchers flights or gift e-card, you will need to pay the full amount chosen in order to receive a gift voucher/e-card. The gift vouchers or gift e-card is non-transferable after claimed and non-refundable. In case of no-show for the flight scheduled at the time and place defined, the amounts previously paid will non-refundable. If the redemption of a gift voucher or gift e-card these will be considered redeemed. All of our flights are insured.
